You may have heard 60-80 hours, or 8-10 hours per cube, or a couple days, or a week, or 30 days or any other quantifiable number. But guess what? That information is WRONG. That inaccurate information has been floating around for years. It’s been an uphill battle to get the correct information out there.
Sure I could tell you that the scent paks, scent circles, and travel tins last UP TO a certain number of days. I could also tell you that you can make UP TO a million dollars a year with Scentsy. Both are possible, yet not very probable.
It Depends.
What if I told you “It lasts 30 days.“, but because of any of the factors mentioned above, after a week you stopped really smelling it the way you did when you first experienced it? You’re going to be disappointed or maybe even feel like you were duped, right?
But what if I told you “Some people say a week, others longer.” Then for you, 6 weeks later every time you walked into that room you still smelled it. Great experience and feelings about Scentsy, right?
Now do you see why it’s impossible, unrealistic and unreasonable to give a quantifiable time frame for how long Scentsy lasts?
The best way I heard it described was from Orville Thompson, Scentsy Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner. He said, “Don’t tell them how long it lasts. Tell them how to use it.”

Before I answer how much a Scentsy bar costs, it’s important to understand what a Scentsy bar is and how long you can anticipate the scent will last.
A Scentsy Candle Bar is a clam shell container of scented candle wax with eight (8) break apart sections or cubes. They are used in Scentsy electric wickless candle warmers. Depending on the size of the warmer and personal preference, most people use 1-4 cubes at a time.
How long the scent in a Scentsy bar lasts depends on personal preference. Everyone’s sense of smell is different, and there are so many variables that determine how often you would swap out your wax. Read How Long Does Scentsy Last to see all the variables and why it would not be accurate for me to give you a quantitative range.

How Many Cubes Do You Use in a Scentsy Warmer? How Long Does that Scent Last?When you’re dealing with the sense of smell, as Scentsy consultants are, there is no Official quantitative values to assign to how long does the scent last or how many cubes do you put in a warmer or drops in a diffuser.
We could have an endless debate about how many cubes each of us use or how many drops of oils or what we think is too strong or that we can’t smell. Some may have heard corporate personnel’s personal preference. We could even debate some of the misinformation about the science behind heat, and scent throw and all that entails. When really, none of it matters because we aren’t in a cookie cutter business where one size fits all.
As Scentsy Consultants, our jobs are to consult, and to advise. We don’t tell anyone anything, other than to suggest they experience Scentsy for themselves and see what works best for them. To do otherwise is doing your customers a disservice and ultimately could hurt your business.
Don’t worry about the numbers. Focus on the personal experience.
